Richard Woolley

Richard Woolley (orcid.org/0000-0003-1247-8776) has a PhD in sociology and has been Research Fellow at INGENIO since 2011. Previously he had ten years’ experience working on science and innovation policy and projects in Australia and SE Asia. Recently he has worked primarily on European projects including: the organization of diagnosis, care and treatment for rare disease patients in Europe (EUCERD Joint Action); and the development of a conceptual framework and data infrastructure for understanding and monitoring research careers (RISIS project). Richard led INGENIO’s work on the development of indicators of the benefits associated with responsible research and innovation (RRI) (MoRRI project). Richard is currently working on new approaches to understanding the societal impacts of science, research and innovation (OSIRIS project) and a monitoring framework for RRI (SUPER MoRRI).
