Norbert Steinhaus holds a diploma in agriculture. He is board member of Wissenschaftsladen Bonn (Bonn Science Shop) since 1990. For more than 20 years he cooperated in international projects on citizen participation in science and technology or responsible research and innovation. Actually he coordinates the H2020 project TeRRIFICA on climate change adaptation and is involved in the EC-funded H2020 project Allthings.bioPRO. Since the end of 2007 he is coordinator and international contact point of Living Knowledge, the international Science Shop network. He is member of the Horizon Europe mission assembly for Soil Health and Food and a German expert group on Science Communication initiated by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research.
