Dr. Gema Revuelta (MD, PhD). Graduated in Medicine, PhD and masters’ degree in Science Communication. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Experimental and Health Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). Gema is also the director of the Science, Communication and Society Studies Centre (CCS-UPF) and the director of the Master’s Degree in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication at UPF – Barcelona School of Management.
Her lines of research include: Social perception of science, Science and health communication and journalism and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). Her research has been published in Nature Biotechnology, Science Communication, JAMA, JCOM, Nanoethics, Medicina Clinica and Gaceta Santaria, among others.
She is the author or co-author of several books.
